These Notes are fitted with the latest Nissan hybrid electric technology. The E -Power drive train utilises a small very fuel efficient motor to charge the battery while driving, this gives the Note 100% EV electric drive but with extended driving range. The Note E-Power aim is reduced fuel consumption, and an official Japanese-cycle fuel consumption figure (which is a little more generous than the Australian cycle) of 2.7L/100Kms, compared with 3.8L/100Kms for a conventional 1.2 litre petrol driven Note which offers less power and torque, is proof that it works
